Todd C. Werts Columbia, Missouri
Mr. Werts' practice focuses primarily on representing individuals in litigation. These cases include personal injury claims and lawsuits, workers' compensation claims, and federal civil actions. He has extensively negotiated with insurance companies, attorneys, and responsible parties to resolve his clients' claims. If negotiation is not enough, though, Mr. Werts has, and will, vigorously litigate a case to achieve the result his client deserves. Mr. Werts has been involved in several trials - including the 8-day jury trial in Valverde et al. v. Lemesany, which resulted in a $1.28 Million verdict. Mr. Werts received both his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and his Law Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a member of the Order of Barristers and was Managing Editor of the Missouri Environmental Law & Policy Review.
